A jam is for artists to gather casually and regularly, co-work, chat about all things comics and art, and make new friends! More specifically, this comics jam is focused on comics, and encouraging each other to make/read/appreciate them more! Of course, adjacent art forms and practices like zinemaking, illustration, animation and more are welcome in this space! All skill and career levels welcome.

What to bring?

Your lovely self + your drawing tools of choice. You can come with comics/books/zines you wanted to read/share with others. Snacks are appreciated! (Packaged, please!)

RSVPing and attendance?

These are casual jams, so do as much or little "work"/socialising as you'd like. If you're an introvert needing the background chatter to work, you're more than welcome to do so! Be kind and respectful. We have a hard rule against bigots, racists, homophobes and such ilk.
Comics jam is an 18+ event! We do not permit U18s to join in-person jams.
Invites to this discord are only open after people have attended at least 1 in-person event. Please get in touch with me to get an invite!
No generated AI stuff. This includes writing!

How to get there?

By train/bus: Lalaport is conveniently connected to Hang Tuah station. You can take the Monorail, or LRT Ampang line or Sri Petaling Line. (Note: the monorail station is not wheelchair accessible)

By car: Parking at Lalaport is free for the first 3 hours.

Once in Lalaport, get to the 4th Floor, Garden Dining food court in the main atrium. We will be gathering at the very back of the food court near Dee Thai, where there are some Pikachu banners.
