Hi, I'm Elyse.

For over 30 years, movement has been at the heart of my life. I began as a dancer and dance teacher, fascinated by the body's capacity for expression, communication, and transformation. Over time, that curiosity led me beyond movement itself and into the deeper layers of healing — the nervous system, the breath, emotions, trauma, and the incredible wisdom held within the body.

Today, I bring together breathwork, somatic therapy, emotional integration, embodiment practices, and trauma-informed approaches to support people in reconnecting with themselves in meaningful and lasting ways.

My work is grounded, compassionate, and real. I don't believe people need fixing. I believe that beneath our coping strategies, survival responses, and protective armour, there is an innate intelligence already moving us toward healing.

My role is simply to help create the conditions where that can happen.

A Personal Journey

This work is not only professional for me it's deeply personal.

I've navigated PTSD, anxiety, sexual assault, grief following the death of my father, depression, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, POTS, insomnia, and a traumatic brain injury. I know what it feels like to lose trust in your body, to feel disconnected from yourself, and to wonder how to find your way back.

Breathwork, Embodiment and Somatic Therapies all became practices that helped me reconnect to life, to my emotions, and to a sense of safety within myself.

The tools and approaches I share are not things I learned only from books or trainings. They are practices that have supported me through some of the most difficult and transformative chapters of my own life.

Because of this, I hold space with empathy, gentleness, and a deep respect for each person's unique journey.

My Approach

In our work together, there is no expectation to perform, achieve, or "get it right."

You are welcome exactly as you are.

Whether you're carrying stress, grief, overwhelm, anger, anxiety, uncertainty, or simply a longing to feel more connected to yourself, this space is an invitation to slow down, listen inward, and allow your breath to guide the way.

My intention is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore what is present, release what no longer needs to be carried alone, and reconnect with your own inner wisdom.
