Coming Home to Ourselves
Event description
“The times are urgent; let us slow down.” - Bayo Akomolafe
Life moves quickly…
The complex decisions.
The unexpected turns.
The fast-paced-everything.
…we forget ourselves.
We believe that you already contain the wisdom you need to flourish and to navigate this life, however, we do need to create intentional room for your best self to emerge.
Join us to gather as a Community of Practice :
To deepen into our Being;
To feel a sense of Belonging;
And to align ourselves with a fuller, more courageous expression of our Becoming.
These evenings are an integration of western psychologically informed processes, emergent embodiment practices, and ancient eastern meditative practices. They focus on creating room for insight, grounding, integration, reflection, connection, and orientation towards a fuller future self.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A warm and inviting gathering.
- The design of these evenings is unique, and it allows for various forms of engagement depending on where you are at. Whether you’re feeling a desire to connect with others, or are feeling sensitive and introverted, all is welcome and equally held. Whether you want to journal, draw, have conversations, meditate, or move… these evenings can hold it all.
- The main process will take us through the 3 times: Hindsight - Looking Back, Insight - Looking In, and Foresight - Looking Forward. As we go through the process, we are supporting you in inhabiting yourself more fully, inviting in balance and integration so that you can traverse the complexities of life.
- Warm cups of tea

ALL ARE WELCOME:
All ages, cultures, orientations.
This event and this series seek to create spaces for all, as we seek to build bridges, and weave trust. We hope to co-create open, connective, and generative dialogues; even in all of our differences.
🌏 HONOURING THE LANDS AND WATERS WE GATHER WITH:
We acknowledge that this event takes place on and with unceded Aboriginal land. We pay our utmost respect to the Wurrundjeri people from the Kulin nation and invite all who join us to remember history, pain, and privilege as we seek to include history, live, love, and lead in ways that allow a more inclusive and regenerative future to emerge.
We look forward to seeing you!
Vadim, Al, Sally, and Kyle.
