    Commemoration of the Abolition of the Death Penalty in Queensland 1922 - 2022

    An event to celebrate the 100 years since the abolition of the death penalty in 1922.

    Launch by Kerry O'Brien, journalist and author, of the new edition of The Penalty is Death, edited by Barry Jones AC, the seminal anti-death penalty text from 1968.

    Auction of a photographic portrait of Barry Jones AC by the famed Australian photographer, Bill Henson. All proceeds to Capital Punishment Justice Project.
