This session is the first instalment of a three-part Commercial Masterclass Series which will cover commercial and retail leasing with a deep dive into the transfer of lease process.

Join us for on Tuesday, 15 November 2023 at 9:30am (Darwin) when Sarah Sharkey (Managing Partner of Sharkey Law) will explain:

• an overview of the key steps in the purchase price;
• when to sign a confidentiality agreement;
• when to sign a heads of agreement;
• the sale of business agreement;
• the purpose of due diligence;
• the transfer of lease;
• the risks for the buyer and the seller; and
• the common pitfalls to avoid for a smooth completion.

Following the presentation, there will be a live Q&A. If you cannot make it, you can still register and we will send you a copy of the recording.

About Sarah Sharkey

Sarah Sharkey is the Managing Partner of Sharkey Law, which specialises in commercial, property law, conveyancing and estate planning law. Sarah holds a law degree with honours and business degree. Sarah has spent over 10 years practising as a commercial lawyer in business, property and litigation. Sarah is part of the Allens Linklaters Alumni.
