Common Unity - Ecstatic Dance

A COMMUNITY ECSTATIC DANCE to acknowledge our 1st nations people.

In respect, we tribute this dance to the 1st nations people of Australia, we celebrate and honour them and the land we live on as we journey through our inner landscape with dance.

There is a Common Unity in all of us that binds us to each other.

Conscious dance is to mindfully move with out the need to talk or perform, disabling judgements and inviting your highest presence to be here now. The dance floor is a safe space to drop division and share in our commonality, we bring together all personalities to the one consciousness. Dancing a tribal dance, a primal dance, a dance steeped in ancestry and shared with your cousins on the floor of life. The music will cross many cultures and transition from slow to fast and slow again, allowing you to warm up, integrate, accelerate, peak and slow down to rest and bliss. Tonight the music will be inspired by our indigenous brothers and sisters here and around the world. We dance in solidarity with all the indigenous around the world.

This dance is in support for the need of a 'One Day' for all Australians. A day all Australians can celebrate to unite our divided nation.

No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities
beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music.

6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.

No shoes, our feet ground us and no talking on the dance floor - we are here because we love dance.

First time to DANCING DHEVAS...
Dancing Dhevas is a free form dance practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.

Conscious dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in the moment.

Bring a water bottle.

We dance bare foot so we can open and ground our feet, the roots of our dance.

No talking on the dance floor, verbal chatter distracts you and others from this active meditation, if you feel you must talk take it outside of the hall.
