Communicating in Recovery

This workshop, facilitated by the Australian Red Cross, is for individuals and community services who may support people or communities impacted by future disasters. Using the best practice Communicating in Recovery guide, the training looks at information management and communication, within a post disaster context. The workshop will explore communications strategies to help overcome the physical and psychological challenges affected communities may face after a disaster. The aim is to assist people to communicate more effectively post-disaster, raise awareness of recovery communications and provide an opportunity to network and share ideas.
