Held at Retravision Stadium, the Ball will welcome up to 180 guests for a magical evening of fine dining, dancing, music, and connection—all in a safe, welcoming space designed especially for individuals with disabilities, their families, and support networks.

This is more than just a formal event—it’s a movement toward inclusivity and celebration for those who often miss out on social experiences. Founded by passionate local advocates Brian and Caroll Appleby, parents of a young adult with disability, the Ball is a heartfelt response to the real-life challenges people with additional needs face when it comes to attending community events.

Who Can Attend?

The Ball is open to any community member aged 18–100 with a disability, along with their families, carers, and support people. We understand the financial challenges many face when attending formal events, particularly those with support needs—so we’ve worked hard to make this night as accessible and welcoming as possible.
