Community Bank Braidwood Preschool Open Gardens 2026

Saturday 28th March & Sunday 29th March // 10am-4pm

An annual fundraiser for the community run, not-for-profit Braidwood Preschool, proudly in partnership with Community Bank Braidwood.

One of Braidwood's most beloved events the Braidwood Open Gardens returns this year, offering a fresh twist in time for the freshening mornings.

This year, visitors will see the return of some of Braidwood’s admired destination gardens, as well as a number of new private gardens, never before shared. It's important to Open Gardens organisers that there is a variety within the program to demonstrate that special, creative places are not only found within grand heritage properties and homesteads, but also within the smaller spaces, working yards and newly built pockets of our town.

This diverse selection means everybody will find something for inspiration, motivation and delight. Whether you love the expansive dreamscapes of a formal garden estate, or the serenity and practical abundance of an intimate domestic retreat.

We have 3 ticket options;

• Single Day Multi Garden Pass - $30

• Full Weekend Multi Garden Pass - $40

• Individual garden entry $10

Tickets can be purchased here online. Cash only at the garden gates. Under 18s free.

Our 2026 Open Gardens will feature the following gardens:

• Longsight – 25 Glenmore Road, Braidwood

• Millpond – 660 Majors Creek Road, Jembaicumbene

• Gillamatong Vista, 11 Nomchong St, Braidwood

• 18 Coronation Ave, Braidwood

• 35 Coronation Ave, Braidwood

• Mona Farm - Kings Highway, Braidwood (Sunday only 12pm-4pm)

Join us for a spectacular weekend in the beautiful heritage-listed town of Braidwood.

Some highlight activities include:

• A cake stall will be held at Longsight on Saturday along with locally grown Dahlias for sale.

• Take a drive in the award winning 1930 Dodge DD utility "Gellibrand" restored by the Braidwood Community and Museum at Millpond on Saturday and Sunday for a gold coin donation.

• We are also holding an Easter Raffle - tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, available at all garden gates.

• Easter egg guessing competition at 18 Coronation Ave

Mona Farm Garden Tour

We are pleased to offer a guided garden tour of Mona Farm led by their head gardener on Sunday 2.30pm. Tickets are $20 per person, limited places. Please pre-purchase your ticket online and meet on the croquet lawn.

In addition, Mona Farm will have a selection of sweet treats available for purchase on Sunday afternoon on the croquet lawn.

Other General Event Info

• Toilets - Please note there are no toilets at the gardens. Public toilets are located at Ryrie Park on Wallace Street and next to the National Theatre, also on Wallace St (opp Braidwood Bakery).

• No dogs are permitted (unless service animals)

Tickets can be purchased online or at the garden gates over the weekend.

EASTER RAFFLE

We are selling our Easter Raffle tickets up to and over the Open Gardens weekend. 5 prizes to be won! Purchase tickets here online or in cash at the garden gates.

Winners drawn Tuesday 31st March. All proceeds support Braidwood Preschool.
