Event description

Note: this event is for transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people. There are three workshops in this series, if you would like to attend the last workshop on the 26th of July, please sign up for all three.

This is Part 2 in a three part series hosted by Zef (they/them) from Community Car Care. This session will focus on demystifying roadside assistance and learn some helpful problem solving tools!

Part 2: Introduction to road side assistance

  • Objectives: Explore emergency concepts and practical strategies.

  • Activities: Diagnostics, group work with case scenarios & research

  • Outcomes: Participants will gain practical experience and problem-solving skills.

Zef's workshops are an interactive and fun way to learn about your car, what maintenance you can do to prolong the life of your car (and save money), how to talk to a mechanic and what to do in an emergency.

The workshop will provide a safe space for you to: ask questions, let go of any shame of being an uneducated car owner, and become a more confident driver.

These workshops are interactive with no confusing, over-your-head car talk.

Practical and easy tips and lessons like, what is the purpose of coolant? What do the letters on the side of my tire mean? What can I touch under the hood of my car? What should I not touch?
