Community Celebration 2026

Come along for an afternoon of celebration, fun and togetherness!

Redlands Performing Arts Centre (RPAC), Cleveland
Free for all! Everyone is welcome.

Let's come together as we celebrate the spirit of our vibrant community.  Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of live entertainment for all ages, including performances from the U3A Performance Group, Birkdale Men’s Shed Group, Here’s to Life, and the Redlands Sporting Club Pipe Band. You’ll also be entertained by a magic show, stilt walkers, giant bubble performers, dance performances, UQ Taiko Japanese drummers, and more!

There’s something for all generations to enjoy! Explore a variety of market stalls and connect with local community organisations. Facepainting, jumping castles, and a petting zoo will delight the little ones. As the sun sets, don’t miss our spectacular laser show lighting up the evening! Volunteer Awards will shine a spotlight on our incredible volunteers whose contributions make such a huge difference.

Bring your family and friends, join in the fun, and celebrate everything that makes our community so special. We can’t wait to see you there!

Admission is absolutely FREE for everyone in the community, ensuring that no one misses out. The event is hosted by STAR Community Services and Volunteering Redlands and sponsored by Redland City Council, McGrath, GWH Dental, Alex Gow Funerals, Oldmac Toyota, Fidelity Hearing, Mr Fireworks and RetireAustralia.

Community Celebration is a much-awaited annual event, offering an afternoon filled with fun activities, laughter, entertainment for all ages. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your organisation and its services to thousands of attendees. Stallholders are also welcome to raise funds by selling products, food, and drinks on the day.

2026 Annual Volunteer of the Year Awards

Does your organisation have a volunteer/s who goes above and beyond? A person/s who is deserving of recognition for their community spirit and dedication to helping others? Please celebrate their contribution by nominating them for the 2026 Volunteer of the Year Award.

There will be four Volunteer of the Year award winners, who will each receive an engraved plaque, a $400 cash prize + a $100 donation made on their behalf to their charity of choice.
