Community Chanuka Celebration 2022
Event description
The State Zionist Council and Maccabi are delighted to host the annual Community Chanuka Celebration, once again.  Come along with your family and friends of all ages! This year the event will be held on Sunday 18 December on the Maccabi Oval from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm and we are getting excited for this bumper event as we celebrate Chanuka and our community! There is heaps of fun in store for everyone! Â
Adults pay $5 each and kids' entry is free!
Enjoy great food and entertainment -
Falafel Omisi will be selling meat and veg options.   On sale too - cold drinks, slushies, donuts and fairy floss. For over 18's a Latke and Lager Stall.
Great live entertainment by well known local jazz band, Café Jazz. What a treat!
Fantastic attractions and lots to do and see -  magician (in the Mini Gym), face painting, giant obstacle course, bouncy castle and human foosball.Â
The lovely Hora Maccabi and Hora Shalom dancers will perform and add to the festive vibe.
Enjoy the beautiful and varied Chanuka Art and Makers' Market (Gordon Bloomfield Hall) showcasing the talents of local artists and makers. Part proceeds of sales to the Menora Charity Fund.Â
Supervised fun basketball games for the kids in the gym (no heels in the gym and players wear runners, please).Â
Special Chanuka candle lighting for night number one by Rabbi White.
