This World Cleanup Day, join in a community cleanup along the Birrarung, to help protect our vital river ecosystem.

Join the Yarra Riverkeeper Association for a hands-on day of action along the Birrarung. Help remove litter from the river and surrounding public spaces, connect with fellow river-lovers, and make an immediate impact on one of Melbourne’s most iconic natural places.

Explore the Yarra Riverkeeper hub to meet the team, discover ways to stay involved, find out about Yarra Riverkeeper Association’s upcoming festival celebrating the Birrarung – Birrarung Riverfest, and learn how we can all collaborate to ensure that Melbourne’s waterways are healthy, protected and loved now, and for many generations to come.

Get ready to roll up your sleeves from 10.30am, then enjoy a free sausage sizzle after the clean-up.
By joining this event, you’re helping to care for Birrarung, while contributing to the vision of the Yarra Strategic Plan.

Presented as part of RESET – a free festival for grounding and growing.
