Community Climate Cafés (Sunday) 2026
Event description
At our Café there is no guest speaker, no advice given, no call for action. Instead, you’ll find a supportive, facilitated conversational space for people to gather and share thoughts and feelings in response to the climate crisis.
Here you can voice concerns that may not be welcomed or echoed elsewhere in your daily life. You’re invited to share with interested others how you’re really feeling at this challenging time.
There may be laughter, there may be tears. There may be fear, there may be anger. Whatever you’re feeling is okay and valued. And it’s fine just to listen. Sharing, listening and being quiet together are all part of our Café.

Ticket prices
We want everybody to be able to access the support they need, so there is always a portion of tickets available for free for our Climate Cafes. Feel free to choose this option if the cost of attending would otherwise stop you from joining.*
Standard Registration is $20
We trust that each individual's circumstances are different, and may even be different from one time to the next. We only ask that you consider the value of joining this supportive, 90-minute gathering, and if you are able to, choose the standard registration fee ($20), or perhaps even the "Pay it forward" option - which buys your ticket, and generously contributes towards someone else in financial difficulty being able to attend.
Psychology for a Safe Climate is a small NFP, with no ongoing operational funding. It's through the support of people like you that we are able to continue this work.
Your presence matters most, and you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Ticket Returns/Refunds
Capacity on Climate Cafes is small, so they are often fully booked. For this reason, registrants are able to return their own tickets up until 24 hours prior to the cafe.
*If you've booked a free ticket and your availability changes, we greatly appreciate it if you could return your ticket so that someone else who needs to, can attend.
