Community Collaboration Drop-in Session | Peppermint Grove Beach

The Shire has engaged Water Technology to prepare a Foreshore Management Plan for Peppermint Grove Beach in an effort to understand the challenges, hazards and potential issues affecting the area. This is in response to the previous Coastal Hazard Risk Management and Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP), a study undertaken in 2023 to identify and communicate predicted impacts of climate on the coastline and to consider future coastal planning and management strategies.

The Shire seeks to collaborate with community on the development of this plan, to explore and inform all possible options for the management of the Peppermint Grove Beach coastline and area.

We invite community to attend a Community Collaboration Drop-in Session to chat to Water Technology consultants, Shire staff and each other about how we can explore solutions to keep the area safe, environmentally and ecologically protected and to address issues associated with climate in an informal information exchange.
