Join us for an informative and interactive demonstration on CPR, defibrillation, and snake bite bandaging, hosted by St John Ambulance. This essential session is designed to equip you with critical lifesaving skills specifically relevant to situations we may face, enhancing your preparedness for potential emergencies during volunteer activities.

What You'll Learn:
Recognising and responding effectively to cardiac arrest using the DRSABCD approach.
Practical CPR training with manikins that provide real-time feedback on technique and rhythm.
Safe and effective use of a defibrillator (training devices provided).
Best practices for snake bite bandaging.
Exploring the benefits and practical use of the St John First Responder app.
Interactive Participation: All attendees are encouraged to participate hands-on to maximise the learning experience. Engage in scenario-based discussions and have your questions answered by an experienced ambulance officer.
Who Should Attend: Ideal for all members of the community we, invite other environmental groups, potential volunteers, and anyone interested in enhancing their emergency response skills relevant to environmental activities.
