Community CPR, Defibrillation & Snake Bite Bandaging Demonstration

Join us for an informative and interactive demonstration on CPR, defibrillation, and snake bite bandaging. This essential session is designed to equip you with critical lifesaving skills specifically relevant to situations we may face, enhancing your preparedness for potential emergencies during volunteer activities.

What We Cover:

  • Recognising and responding effectively to cardiac arrest using the DRSABCD approach.

  • Practical CPR demonstration.

  • Safe and effective use of a defibrillator.

  • Best practices for snake bite bandaging.

  • Exploring the benefits and practical use of the First Responder app.

Interactive Participation: All attendees are encouraged to participate hands-on to maximise the learning experience. Engage in scenario-based discussions and have your questions answered by an experienced ambulance officer.

Who Should Attend: Ideal for all members of the community we, invite other environmental groups, potential volunteers, and anyone interested in enhancing their emergency response skills relevant to environmental activities.

Come prepared to learn, practice, and become a more confident first responder!
