Community Dam to Tap tour
Description
Ever wondered how water gets from our catchments to your tap?
As part of National Water Week, Eurobodalla Shire Council is opening its Dam to Tap Tour to the public for the first time.
This unique behind the scenes experience offers community members the opportunity to discover the journey of nadju (water) through the Eurobodalla and gain a new appreciation for one of our most precious resources.
Participants will visit:
Deep Creek Dam: Our northern water storage. Find out how our water gets to the dam and other fun facts.
Northern Water Treatment Plant: See where the water treatment begins to ensure safe and reliable water for the Eurobodalla
Moruya Sewage Treatment Plant: See where wastewater is treated and managed.
Along the way, operational staff will provide insights into each stage of the process and answer any questions about supply, treatment, and management of water across the Eurobodalla.
This tour will be conducted by bus and places are strictly limited.
Departure and return location: Moruya Library Carpark
