Event description

Free workshop for community members and community sector workers in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region

Come and learn what social enterprise can contribute to you, your community or community organisation.

Through this free half-day workshop, you’ll learn about social enterprise development through inspirational stories and case studies from other social enterprises in the area. Lunch is included.

In this workshop come and:

  1. Hear inspirational stories from local social enterprise Vanguard Laundry and Nundah Community Enterprise Cooperative
  2. Reflect on several case studies to learn models and ensure we don't 'make old mistakes'
  3. Connect with others in your community interested in social enterprise development
  4. Map possible gaps that new enterprises could fill
  5. Sense if there is motivation to do something new - we will ask, 'is there an agreement to do anything together?'
