Description
Weaving the Stories We Carry
Community Exhibition & Parent Wellbeing Gathering
Join us during Perinatal Mental Health Week for a special community event celebrating the stories, experiences and creativity of parents and carers.
Weaving the Stories We Carry brings together artwork, basket weaving, words and reflections inspired by the experiences of birth and early parenting.
Created by parents and carers, these pieces reflect the many different journeys into and through parenthood, including the joys, challenges, changes and connections along the way.
Come along to:
Explore artwork and reflections shared by local parents and carers
Connect with local services offering support for parents, babies and families
Meet other parents and community members
Enjoy free refreshments and relaxed conversation
Learn more about the importance of parent wellbeing and connection
Whether you're a new parent, a Dad, a foster carer, an experienced parent, a grandparent, a caregiver or someone who supports families, we'd love you to join us.
Everyone is welcome. This is a free event, and children are welcome too.
Come for a few minutes or stay for the morning. No booking is necessary unless you would like to register for event updates.
