Community For Everyone - an information session about our project

Community for Everyone is a groundbreaking project that aims to foster inclusion and belonging by connecting volunteer social connectors with profoundly isolated individuals with intellectual disability who share similar interests. Social connectors will receive training and support to assist them to be effective in their role. This project will not only enrich the lives of those involved but also strengthen inclusion in Ryde and Parramatta.

Join us for an information session that will give you the chance to: 

• find out about the project
• discuss what it takes to be a social connector
• hear about the free training and support provided
• meet others who will be part of the project.

To launch our exciting project, we are running information sessions.   Choose the session that suits you!

We have both an online and in-person session to kick off: 

• Online: Thursday 25 July 2024, 5.30pm - 7.30pm, Zoom
• In-person: Wednesday 31 July 2024, 10am - 12noon, Level 2, Suite 206 34 Charles Street, Parramatta, NSW, 2150 
• Online: Wednesday 21 August 2024, 10am - 12noon, Zoom

Community for Everyone is a 2-year project of  Side By Side Advocacy and Hunter Circles.

If you can't make our July session, we'll be running more events in the coming months.  Join our mailing list to stay up to date!

We are also open to running information sessions for community groups or others who are interested to get involved.
