Join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon of drinks, music, conversation, and connection as we bring together local changemakers, nature lovers, and climate advocates.

Seeds of Hope is about gathering the people who care — about climate, biodiversity, food systems, and community — and creating space for ideas, friendships, and collaborations to grow.

Expect:

Short, informal sharings from passionate community members working at the intersection of climate, nature, and people power.

Time and space to connect, discover synergies between our networks, and spark new collaborations.

A relaxed, family- and kids-friendly atmosphere with food and drinks available for purchase on site.

Plenty of parking, and a venue chosen with comfort and accessibility in mind.

This event is free and community-focused, but we would be very grateful if attendees could make a small conscious contribution to help the Food Connect Shed cover venue rental and maintenance costs.

Whether you’re curious about nature, climate action, regenerative food systems, or citizen-led initiatives, this is a warm and welcoming space to connect, collaborate, and share hope.

About Climate Crew

The Climate Crew is a community for people across Australia and New Zealand who want to connect around All Things Climate. Whether you’re just beginning to explore climate topics, a professional transitioning into climate work, or already leading initiatives — you are welcome.

Their mission is simple: connect like-minded people. Through in-person meetups and a vibrant WhatsApp community, Climate Crew creates opportunities for collaboration, learning, debate, and mutual support so that more people can focus their energy on meaningful climate action.

About Food Connect Shed

The Food Connect Shed is a community food hub in Brisbane dedicated to building a fairer, more resilient food system. It connects local farmers, producers, and the community through markets, events, and shared spaces that celebrate ethical food, regenerative agriculture, and community connection.

The Shed is more than a venue — it’s a place where people come together to re-imagine how food can nourish both people and planet.

People For Nature is a citizen-powered environmental organisation based in Brisbane. Its mission is to inform, empower, and reconnect people to nature by transforming climate and biodiversity science into accessible knowledge and action.

Through interactive workshops, citizen science, and community initiatives, People For Nature helps individuals and organisations understand environmental challenges and become part of the solutions.
