Community Governance Gatherings - South Waikato

SWIFT is pleased to host our Community Governance Gatherings, a welcoming space for local trustees, committee members, board members and community leaders to come together, learn, and share experiences.

These gatherings are designed to:

• Strengthen governance capability across South Waikato

• Create space for kōrero and peer learning

• Support volunteers and leaders doing important community mahi

What to expect

• Informal, facilitated discussion with others involved in governance

• Practical insights into governance roles and responsibilities

• Time to share challenges, ideas and learnings with peers

• A safe, supportive environment — no prior governance experience required
