Event description

As educators or parents one of our roles is to nurture the children in our care so they become healthy, resilient, productive adults.

This takes more than innate ability or giftedness. It is the result of an interplay between natural ability and both intrapersonal and environmental catalysts as highlighted in Gagne’s DMGT 2010.

Strong interpersonal characteristics and lifelong learning skills are essential for talent development in the rapidly changing 21st century world.

This presentation will look at the intrapersonal catalysts required for successful learning and life. We will look at research about the characteristics of gifted learners, and how the intrapersonal catalysts impact on talent development. Discussion will look at practical strategies that can be used to assist in the development of these qualities.  There will be time for discussion and questions.

Tea and coffee provided.
