Community-led Resilience Hubs for Stirling - Information Session Callander
Description
Stirling Council aims to encourage and support a network of Community Support Hubs across its seven wards to strengthen local resilience and preparedness. Hubs will be community‑led spaces that can be activated during emergencies, helping people to come together and face difficult situations like flooding and fire. The hubs will build on local knowledge and resources, and may work differently in each area.
At this stage, Community Enterprise is gathering information on the risks, resilience plans and resources in place across and engaging with communities across Stirling to understand the scale and nature of work needed to develop these hubs.
The information sharing events will be a chance for community representatives, organisations and interested people to find out more about the project and share ideas on needs, assets and challenges in their areas.
Although an approach to the Resilience Hubs will be developed for each Ward, at this stage we are holding information sharing meetings in 3 locations. Please feel free to attend the meeting that best suits you. Please register to help us track numbers.
