👚 Bring Quality Clothes to Share and Gift

🪡Free Rag Rug Workshop with Beth

🥣 mushroom potato and leek soup made by Nutrition by Hannah with Glenreagh Bakery roll for $8 pre purchase.

All clothes will be gifted and available for you to take home for free. You can bring quality clothes to gift too. We will provide hanging racks and size dividers, if you can bring your clothes on coat hangers that would be most excellent. Let’s set the clothes up organised by size and colour 🌈

Good quality clothes, town clothes, party clothes, fancy dress, winter woolens. No stains or holes please.

If you don’t have any clothes to gift come along and take some clothes home anyway.

Lunch is being made by local nutritionist Nutrition by Hannah and will come with a bread roll. Hannah is making mushroom, potato and leek soup using local ingredients where possible. Hannah’s clients say this is a favourite recipe of hers and we’re sure you’ll love it too. In an effort to reduce food waste we are asking people to preorder lunch so Hannah can make just as much as we need.

The soup is vegetarian, we can provide a Dairy Free version if need be, just send us a message 😊

Pre purchase your lunch via the link.

You are also more than welcome to bring your own lunch to eat at the hall if you prefer 😊

RAG RUG WORKSHOP

Discover the art of transforming fabric scraps into beautiful, functional rugs that tell stories of creativity and sustainability, experiencing the joy of giving new life to old fabrics!

Together we’ll explore the step-by-step journey of cutting, braiding, and joining fabric strips to craft your very own unique rug, maybe a bath mat, door mat, dog mat 🐶 cat mat 🐱, play may 🚗 the potential is endless.

In addition to the classic braided style, I'll unveil the secrets of crafting shag rag rugs and crochet designs as well.

Cost: Absolutely Nothing

What to bring:

- Any old worn out clothes, sheets etc - anything will do but the thinner lighter materials such as cottons etc are easier to work with

- A sharp pair of scissors to cut them up with

- A couple of clothes pegs

- If you have a larger sized crochet hook (4mm and above) this may help too, but is not a necessity, fingers work well!

So, gather your fabric treasures and join us for a relaxed, fun-filled workshop where imagination knows no bounds. Let’s weave memories, laughter, and a whole lot of creativity into the colourful tapestry of rag rug making.

See you there!
