This training is being offered for members of the Tasmanian Anglican Church
Community Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training helps mobilise and empower adults in the workplace and community by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
This course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.
This is a blended package. By purchasing a ticket you are buying the elearning package. An email will be sent to you with the elearning log on, you need to complete the elearning in order to attend the face to face workshop and be accredited with a Mental Health First Aid qualification. The pricing covers the elearning cost only, if you are not able to attend the face to face workshop a refund will not be possible. The elearning takes aproximately five to seven hours. You can do this at your own pace. You will be supplied with a manual and other resources at the face to face workshop.

5-7hrs of self paced elearning
5hrs face to face workshop
The accreditaiton is valid for three years.
