Community Planting & Olive Oil Tasting Masterclass

Roll up your sleeves and join us for a day that gives back to the land and treats your tastebuds to something special.

Help us plant 1500 native plants and create vital habitat in the upper Tarwin catchment, then settle in for an exclusive masterclass with our very own local olive oil producer.

You'll taste your way through delicate, classic, robust, early harvest and high polyphenol oils, learning what makes each variety unique from someone who knows the craft inside out.

☕ Kick off at 9:15am in Hallston (address shared after registration) with a cuppa before we head out to plant an area that matters for local flora and fauna.

🫒 Once the planting's done, sit back and enjoy a free olive oil tasting and light lunch, our way of saying thank you for your hard work.

What to bring: sturdy or closed toe shoes, a raincoat, water bottle and sunscreen.
