This is the third year of this collaboration and another along the Back Creek biodiversity Corridor, involving BASSCARE, KooyongKoot Alliance and Friends of Back Creek- Ferndale, as well as 1st Glen Iris Scout Group and Boroondara Council.

With over 5000 plants planted already, BASSCARE have donated a further 1200 to strengthen the corridor along this section of the creek, linking to the significant planting taking place along the lower reaches of Back Creek running to Gardiners Creek and onto the Yarra River.

The event will involve planting indigenous plants to encourage wildlife back along this important biodiversity corridor.
