Community Planting, Pine Gully

Come and join council and the Friends of Pine Gully for a family friendly community planting day!

The City of Holdfast Bay and the Friends of Pine Gully have been working to increase local native plant species and diversity in this beautiful urban nature reserve. We would like to invite you to join us for a fun morning of planting. There will be an family friendly activity run by Habitat Connection Co throughout the morning, and a sausage sizzle held by the 5049 Coastal Community Association at the end of the activity.

Please arrive at 10.15am to allow time for registrations, and to hear the safety briefing. You are welcome to stay for as long or as little time as you like.

Bring along gardening gloves, a small hand trowel and water. Wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, closed toe shoes, safety or optical glasses and a hat or rain jacket (depending on the weather). We will provide any additional tools and equipment that are needed. Under 18s will need to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian.

Bookings are essential to make sure we have enough equipment. Please book 1 ticket for each person attending, including children, so that we make sure to cater for everyone.

This event is being funded by Landcare Australia through the Cricket for Climate "Green Games”.
