Community Planting Weekend Arapiles
Event description
Help us restore biodiversity and improve habitat connectivity in the Wimmera! We need plenty of volunteers to help us plant 3000 native trees and shrubs on private property in the Arapiles area.
Bring your friends, family, gloves, and get your hands dirty for a great cause. Whether you're a green thumb or just keen to connect with nature, everyone is welcome! Come for the weekend or one day.
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided.
Exact meeting location will be emailed to registered attendees closer to the date.
Accommodation is not provided - there is cheap camping ($3.10/night/person) nearby at Mount Arapiles-Tooan State Park and other accommodation options in the nearby towns of Natimuk and Horsham.
Horsham District Landcare Network is a not-for-profit group that supports Landcare across the Horsham district and contributes to large scale community-led biodiversity and sustainable agriculture outcomes.
