Community QPR (Question. Persuade. Refer): Suicide Prevention Training

Come join us at the Summit County Community and Senior Center for a special event during "Suicide Prevention Month", focused on suicide prevention. Statistics show that people are more likely to speak to a friend or family member about their struggles rather than a professional. Learn skills, tools, and knowledge in supporting individuals who may be struggling. Together, we can make a difference in our community. Don't miss out on this valuable opportunity to learn how to save lives.

QPR: Question, Persuade, and Refer: the 3 simple yet powerful steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Just as people trained in CPR help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR (gatekeepers) learn how to:

- Recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis

- How to offer hope

- How to get help and save a life

This training is for those aged 18+
Childcare and food will be provided to all that will RSVP, and who doesn't love free food from La Perla?!
Childcare will be located in a separate room in the building. Please RSVP for each child, if you will be needing childcare. Register now!
