You're Invited: Five Dock Community Recycling Centre 10 Year Anniversary Open Day!

For the first time ever, we're giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how your local waste facility operates! Join us as we celebrate 10 years of the Five Dock Community Recycling Centre (CRC).

What to Expect

Over the past decade, the CRC has helped our community divert tonnes of problem waste from landfill. Now, you can see how it all works!

Our 30-minute guided tours will take you through the full journey of your waste, from collection to processing. You'll learn:

What materials are accepted at the facility
Where your recyclables and waste go after drop-off
What happens to materials once they leave the centre
Essential site safety procedures for future visits (traffic flow, parking, and safe loading/unloading)

Each tour wraps up with a 15-minute Q&A, so bring your questions!
