Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot - Movie Night

We are raising money as part of the Community Refugee Integration and Settlement Pilot (CRISP)

Through CRISP a group of us are working together to help a refugee family with practical resettlement and integration support when they arrive in Australia. We have been raising money since late 2022 and have nearly reached our goal of $15,000.

Part of the program requires us to raise money to support their resettlement which could include transport costs, housing assistance, furniture, mobile phones and other settlement necessities. We have undertaken training and have organised fundraising activities and have created a fundraising platform for tax deductible donations.
Recently we have been matched with a Palestinian mother and her two children who have been displaced in Thailand since 2012. We are eagerly awaiting news of their arrival. We hope it is soon, but we don't have a date yet. (Travel is facilitated by the Australian Government and their partner organisations overseas, so this is out of our hands).
