Jaime Mackenzie -Â Director of Red Flag Leadership
About this workshop-
The workshop will be focused on exploring the realities faced in an emergency or disaster and how those challenges may be tackled – breaking down what’s required and recognising the skills necessary to look after each other and any visitors who may be in your town. All the skills which may be required if the community becomes isolated, cut-off from systems and services and/or overwhelmed are already in your community. This workshop aims to unify them. The session will be undertaken in the Common Ground Project Farmhouse Cafe with light refreshments included.Â
What to bring?
Nothing in particular! A note pad and pen if you wish but otherwise just an openness to learning and connecting with your community. Light snacks will be provided.Â
