Community Resilience Workshop: Understanding Risks, Building Solutions
Description
A practical workshop with Dr Jean Renouf
Join CALM, in partnership with Lake Mac Council and supported by funding from Gravamen, for an interactive and engaging workshop focused on building resilient communities in the face of a changing climate.
Following the public presentation the evening before (Book Launch: Unspeakable), this three-hour workshop provides an opportunity to move beyond the conversation and explore practical, locally relevant responses to the challenges facing our communities.
Facilitated by Dr Jean Renouf, the session will be discussion-based and highly interactive, encouraging participants to share knowledge, reflect on local experiences and work together to identify strengths, opportunities and actions that can strengthen community resilience.
This workshop is suitable for community members, volunteers, community organisations, service providers, local leaders and anyone interested in helping create stronger, more connected and prepared communities.
No specialist knowledge is required. Whether you are new to the topic or already involved in community resilience initiatives, this workshop will provide valuable insights, practical tools and meaningful opportunities for connection.
