Free Community Samba Drumming Class For Beginners - Fully Vaxxed Only

To celebrate the partial end of lockdown, we are offering a one-off FREE Brazilian drumming class!   Note that you must be fully vaccinated to participate in this, and must bring proof of your vaccination with you.

Come and experience the  heart of Brazil and learn some explosive rhythms!  Whether you are looking to try something a little different, or to experience a taste of Rio Carnival, or to do something rhythmic with your hands, heart and mind, or if you just want to jam with a bunch of friendly folks, then this session is for you. 

Absolutely no experience necessary (but you must have a basic sense of rhythm - can you clap in time?  Awesome,  then join us).  Don't worry if you are a little nervous, we'll give you something very simple to start with. Just come and have a blast with us and help us make some noise! We'll make you feel very welcome. All drums are provided, there's plenty of parking outside, and it's also just a 5 min walk from Parramatta train station.

Arrive 10 minutes before the class as the door closes at 7pm sharp (we have to respect the neighbours and close the doors and sound curtains once we start playing ... sadly that means we won't hear anyone banging on the doors after we have started, so if you are late, unfortunately you will miss out).

Just bring your lovely selves, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn and have some fun! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as we'll be standing while we drum.
