    Event description

Honestly, I’m feeling conflicted in my yoga teaching lately... A few things that have been weighing heavy for me:

    • The transactional dynamic that is creeping  into my practice,
    • How cookie cutter and homogenous classes can be,
    • An absence of connection with other teachers and community,
    •  The culture of avoiding the more transformative, radical, and essential aspects of yoga in ‘casual’ classes,
    • The lack of elders in the field,
    • ‘yoga burnout’ and how this is possible if we are to truely be practicing yoga and non-violence towards ourselves...
    • etc...

My dream is to honestly connect with other  teachers, and share some of the difficulties...

I’m creating this event because I personally would love it, and need it. I am making this free because it’s not about money (and it feels kinda radical)! If people would like to contribute financially to support me doing more things like this, then that would be wonderful but there is no expectation.

I will be guiding us through some structured processes so there is space for each of us to share, listen, connect, dream, and reflect. I plan  to make chai for all, and if you feel to bring something (food, a poem, flowers, incense, etc...) that would be wonderful.

Feel free to invite other teachers who might appreciate this

~ May we all find a way to navigate the  challenges of living from the heart in a transactional culture... ~

    TICKETING:

The ticket for this event is either free or pay as you feel. If you value the idea and intention of this gathering and would like to offer some money so that this might be sustainable for me to do again, then I would appreciate it, but I have no expectations for anyone to do so. I would be satisfied to do this event for free for now :)
