Calling Epic 9th-12th Grade Students,

Are you looking for an amazing opportunity to volunteer in Oklahoma City? Come join Epic Charter Schools as we head to the Infant Crisis Services non-profit organization where we will be hosting a community service opportunity for our Epic students who are in 9th-12th grade! If you are a student who needs service hours/credit for a club or program, this opportunity will help fulfill your hours. This location only has space for our student volunteers, therefore, we ask that parents & younger siblings wait in the waiting room right by the volunteer room unless the student is of driving age and drive themselves. Looking for more information about this location? What to Expect:

• Student volunteers will have the opportunity to create care packages for expecting mothers and babies by packaging diaper packs, packaging food sacks & boxes, or labeling formulas depending on inventory that day. 
• Required Permission Slip: Each student must have a permission slip filled out.
• To access the permission slip online: Student Permission Slip You have three options to submit the permission slip:
1. Fill it out in person at Infant Crisis on the day of the event.
2. Bring a completed form with you on the day of the event.
3. Email the completed form to Brianna.Davison@epiccharterschools.org before the event.

*Students who are of driving age may come to this event without their guardian but must have a permission slip filled out and turned in on the day of the event.

Students: Epic student email accounts cannot receive emails from Humanitix. Therefore, you will need to provide an alternative email address where you can receive the registration confirmation and all updates that are sent about this event. 

Volunteer Session:

• 1:40 pm Volunteer Check-In with Epic Staff (Use the Volunteer Entrance at the BACK of the building)
• 2:00-4:00 pm Volunteer Time
• 4:00 pm Conclusion

POLICIES: You will register using Humanitix which will hold your spot for the community service as a reservation. Parents, please register your Epic students who will be participating. This enables the school and the location to staff and plan appropriately. Our community service opportunities do have a maximum capacity. Therefore, we ask that when registering your students, you only register Epic enrolled students so that the spots are filled by our students.

Students cannot be dropped off to attend without a parent or guardian unless they are of driving age and drive themselves. 

Service Animals: Families, please contact the event location directly to confirm whether service dogs are allowed.

MEDIA: This is a public event and photographs and or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student to not have a photograph or video taken, please let our Epic Family Engagement staff know during check-in.

CANCELLATIONS: As a reminder, if you sign up to come but are unable to make it, please cancel your reservation using your Humanitix confirmation email. This will open up spots for other families.

1. Go to Humanitix Confirmation Email
2. Click on "Manage Order"
3. Click "Refund/Cancel"
4. Select ALL or manually select the tickets you need to cancel
5. Click the "Review" button
6. Click the "Confirm" button

Inclement Weather: If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Humanitix or the email used at registration to notify if the field trip has been canceled.
