Event description

The Community Services Outcomes Tree - available on a public website - is a free framework for capturing the outcomes individuals experience as a result of community services.

In this ‘Speed Launch’ webinar we'll introduce and demonstrate the Outcomes Tree which aims to support the sector by providing:

1. A comprehensive outcomes framework across all community service areas to assist services to name and measure their outcomes.

2. A set of related data collection questions (two for each outcome or domain). This will help services to be able to ask meaningful questions of service users and collect data.

3. Resources to support data collection, including a survey/question template which can be downloaded and customised to each service.

The Community Services Outcomes Tree is based on an extensive review of government, not-for-profit and academic literature related to outcomes measurement, both in Australia and internationally.

It has been developed through a research collaboration between Uniting Vic. Tas and the Centre for Social Impact Swinburne.

Uniting Vic.Tas is the community services organisation of the Uniting Church in Victoria and Tasmania.

Webinar presenter:

Professor Erin Wilson, Uniting Chair in Community Services Innovation, Centre for Social Impact, Swinburne University of Technology.

Please note:
This webinar will commence at 1:00pm (AEDT) and registrations will close an hour before. Live transcribing will be available and the webinar will be recorded. Please register to receive the first release of the recording.
