Event description

Have you ever wondered how to connect with the good in your community to create sustainable change?

Are you looking for ways to upskill and tap into the skillsets of your community?

Have you wondered what it might take to solve some of our community’s biggest challenges by sharing your good?

...

This is the kickstart you need to get yourself empowered to change the way we live, share and connect!

The workshop covers:

Inspiring Connections (For Good):

* What a more connected community looks like.

* How to tackle loneliness and improve social inclusion while helping the environment.

PLUS

The Art of Storytelling: How Might We Create a healthier and more resilient Hood by sharing your 'good'. We'll show you how to share your impact and invite others to get involved.

Join our free, interactive workshop with co-founder of Good for the Hood, Jo Taranto. Jo has worked with ABC's War on Waste and Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge and has seen communities all over Australia taking action to make cleaner, kinder and more sustainable choices.

The workshop is interactive and will ask for your participation for the best outcomes, so we would love to hear from you! A pre course survey will be sent closer to the event.

This event is an initiative of Port Stephens Council and the Hunter Joint Organisation of Councils who are proudly working with the community to harness the good and create sustainable change.
