Community Storytelling Evening August 2025

A night of story soul food and community connection. 

Fill your cup with chai while you sit back and feast on the nourishment of story from across the globe and throughout the ages. 

The Mullumbimby Storytelling group has been journeying together for 8 weeks, working with different games, techniques and practices to enliven the age old tradition of oral storytelling.

And now we are ready to share this passion and exploration with you, our wider community.
Storytelling is, after all, a social experience!

We will hear myth, folktale, legend.

When: Thursday 21st August 6-8pm

Where: Wildernest, Lower Koonyum Range Road

What: Stories and Chai! (BYO cup)

Exchange: $10 per adult, $5 per child under 10 

Who: You! Our beloved community. There will be stories for young minds and stories for old minds. Everybody can enjoy this event! (Please note: The first set of stories will be appropriate for all ages, after a short break the second set of stories will be appropriate for the older minds).
