Inspired by ‘The Moth’ storytelling events, this evening is a curated night of true stories from individuals involved in the Welcoming Communities Programme – an international initiative led in Aotearoa by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), which supports councils and their communities to foster more welcoming and inclusive environments for newcomers.

This truly special evening offers a unique opportunity to hear real stories from people around the world who now call West Auckland home.

People are what make places special, and our approach to urban regeneration aims to elevate, connect, and showcase local voices as a way of building resilience and a deeper connection to place.
