Community Sundowner: Health, Rights and Resilience

You're invited to our Community Sundowner!
In partnership with Desert Blue Connect, WAAC invites you to a free community sundowner on Friday, 19 June at The Studio at Bob's Boutique Bar.
The evening will feature three creative garments from the HIV Unwrapped collection, a retrospective art exhibition celebrating 40 years of the HIV response in WA, and HIV Oral Monologues - a powerful short film series sharing the lived experiences of people living with HIV.
Grazing food will be provided throughout the evening, as well as a free drink token on entry (additional drinks can be purchased from the bar).
About HIV Unwrapped
Through storytelling, art, and conversation, the event explores the role creativity has played in shaping the social, cultural, and scientific response to HIV from the early years of the epidemic through to today.
Guests will hear from community speakers, view creative works and films, and connect with others in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Catering provided, including one drink token on arrival.
