Community Thank-You and AGM 2025
Event description
The community is invited to an end-of-year evening of celebration, connection and recognition as Nature Conservation Margaret River Region marks 25 years of caring for country.
Supporters, volunteers and members are urged to join Nature Conservation’s staff and board at the Margaret River HEART on Tuesday, November 18 for a special end-of-year event celebrating decades of environmental action.
The main celebration begins at 6pm, with live music, light refreshments and an opportunity to reflect on a year of conservation achievements. The last 12 months has been a landmark year for the conservation group, with huge milestones across programs including Friends of Wooditjup Bilya, Caring for Coast, Arum Lily Blitz, Adopt a Spot, Our Patch, Protect Wooditjup Bilya, Waatu Kaatijin, the Cape Naturaliste Conservation Enterprise and more.
Nature Conservation members are also invited to attend the Annual General Meeting which starts earlier from 5pm, to help shape the organisation’s direction for the next 12 months. Following the AGM, everyone is invited to join the main celebration from 6pm.
The night will also feature a short presentation on the year’s highlights and a keynote speaker, with more details to be announced soon.
This free event is open to all, but registrations are essential.
