PENNESHAW COMMUNITY WORKSHOP - HAVE YOUR SAY ON OUR NEW PLAN

The Kangaroo Island Landscape Board is updating our Five-Year Landscape Plan and we want your input.

The Kangaroo Island Landscape Board Plan (the Plan) sets our priorities for how we care for land, water, biodiversity, and sustainable livelihoods on Kangaroo Island.

Healthy landscapes support agriculture, tourism, biodiversity, and community wellbeing.

We want a Plan that reflects the aspirations, knowledge and lived experiences of the people who live, work and care for Kangaroo Island.

How you can help shape the new Plan

We are in the initial stages of reviewing our current Plan and are seeking your feedback on how we shape the future plan. We are running a series of workshops and an online survey to develop the Plan. Once we have captured your initial feedback, we will develop a draft Plan for your feedback in November this year.

You can help us shape the new Plan in the following ways:

1.      Share your thoughts through our online survey that will be open until 19 September 2025 here: https://forms.office.com/r/rSmqBGN7ZR

2.      Meet with us at in person and take part in a two-hour workshop:

• Penneshaw, at the Dudley United Football Clubrooms on Tuesday 2 September 2025 from 1pm until 3pm (lunch provided).

• Parndana: at the Parndana Bowling Club on Wednesday 3 September 2025 from 7am until 9am (breakfast provided).

• Kingscote: at the Kangaroo Island Landscape Board’s Boardroom on Wednesday 3 September 2025 from 12pm until 2pm  (lunch provided).
