About

There’s something magical that happens when you throw a party.

It’s hard to put your finger on exactly what or why that is. Perhaps, as with great food, it comes down to a few simple, quality ingredients. Is it the joy of coming together with familiar, friendly faces? exciting, inquisitive new ones? the smell of food travelling the room?

We think there is no greater way of easing into the startup journey than by breaking bread with new friends and old. Sharing stories and heartaches, successes and failures and flaming visions of a future yet unknown.

And let's not forget a critical ingredient to a wonderful evening - intelligent conversation.

South Australia is fast becoming synonymous with deep technology. Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart sensor networks, renewables, defence and space technologies, robotics, big data and creative industries are key areas being fostered here.

But how can we continue to share our story? Foster a thriving and supportive culture? What can we learn from other states, other nations and other voices? What do we need to improve on? What are we great at?

Join us for an evening with some of SA's leading entrepreneurs and advisors (alongside some surprise special guests) - as we explore where we've been as a state, where we're going - and where we go next.
