Event description

Join us for a site visit on the morning of Wednesday 15th May 7.45 for 8.00 am start to the manufacturing site and headquarters of iconic smallgoods manufacturer Barossa Fine Foods and seafood processor Angelakis Bros.

Hear from Franz Knoll and his sons on:

  • Celebrating 100 years of Smallgoods making in both Germany and Australia.
  • Introducing traditional German cuisine to an Australian market and how consumer tastes have changed.
  • How manufacturing has changed from craft based hand made production to modern sophisticated food processing techniques.

There will be a tour of the facility with coffee and nibbles provided after.
