Compassionate Mind Training (SPRING 2026)
Description
University life can be exciting, but also stressful. Compassionate Mind Training (CMT) is a practical, psychology-based approach that helps you manage pressure, calm your mind, and respond to challenges with confidence and kindness.
From these sessions, you will learn how to:
Understand your emotional systems
Build a stronger, more supportive inner voice
Reduce self criticism
Use simple techniques to steady the mind and body
Strengthen resilience and wellbeing
CMT isn’t about being “soft”. It is about about developing courage, clarity, and emotional balance.
This is a 4-week program. Sessions will run Thursdays 2:30pm to 4:00pm.
Sessions will run on the following dates:
10th September - Thursday
17th September - Thursday
24th September - Thursday (UTS STUVAC week)
1st October - Thursday
Due to the nature of the content, the nature of this group is a closed one, with limited capacity, and each session will build on the previous one. As such, please register only if you are able to commit to all four sessions, and have no prior experience with the program.
