Description

"When you receive a complaint ..."

90-min online interactive seminar,

Wednesday 30 September, 1pm

$45

Our society is becoming more litigious and complaints more common. Despite our best efforts, all of us in the helping professions can expect to receive a complaint. This is often highly stressful. We will look in detail at common psychological reactions to informal and formal complaints and discuss how to understand and manage our responses to maintain emotional equilibrium. Other practical aspects of responding to a complaint will be provided.

Training outcomes:

  • Be less anxious about complaints

  • Manage your own needs and reactions

  • Know what to do and what not to do

  • Grow your competence for calm mature handling of a complaint

Who should do this seminar?

  • counsellors

  • ministers & pastors

  • youth workers

  • other allied health and community professionals

This seminar will be recorded and the video available to those who register.
